General patterns ltd is owned and managed by Dave Fletcher and Gordon Findlay who have over 70 years experience in the industry between them.

We have been supplying foundry patterns, models and tooling since we were established in 1996 and are conveniently located in Castleford close to the M62, M1 and A1

The company covers more than 3500 sq feet and is well stocked with traditional machines to compliment our range of cnc machines

We employ time served highly skilled pattern makers capable of producing top quality Patterns and tooling to any of your requirements. Please see our gallery page for examples of our work.

What we do

We will work from your drawings or 3d models, we can also 3d model the parts from drawing if needed using our Delcam Cad Cam Package powershape & powermill. All our software is on a maintained contract to ensure it is always current and up to date.

Patterns /tooling can be produced in either the traditional methods on the bench by hand or on any of our 3 CNC machines dimensional reports can be provided if required for either method.
